Additional comments
2006, quite a year in many aspects! On a personal note, the finest of my life. But by far it will stand out in most peoples memory because of the sunny and often hot June and July. If August had maintained the standard it would have been the finest summer of all by far, however September also had it's warm days - making up for this slight disappointment. So many days above 70ºF, well above indeed! The autumn was very mild also, but also rather wet and this continued into the last month. Only March - and I mean ONLY,  provided any glee for fans of cold and snowy weather. Winter seems to be disappearing with Autumns seemingly melting into Spring. Global warming has not only statistically arrived and been proven once again this year, I think everyone now sees it in their day to day experience.
